Seeking experience with the ionization, acceleration, deflection, and detection stages of mass spectrometry to install Accelerator, Gas Chromatography, Liquid Chromatography, Isotope Ratio, and Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometers and ensure instrument functionality in Clinical, Hospital, Research, Reference, Toxicology and Pain Management Laboratory settings.
*** Maintain service contract accounts and conduct preventative maintenance.
*** Provide estimates to customers for onsite repair of instrumentation not covered by service contracts.
*** Troubleshoot and repair down to the following component levels: Ion sources, cathodes, anodes, electron traps, charged plates, ion accelerators, beam focusing, electromagnets, quadrupoles, flight tubes, detector, collectors, amplifiers, chart recorders, etc.
*** Maintain service records relative to each system and service call.
*** Maintain tools, parts, diagnostic hardware, and software inventory.
*** Support sales teams with presentations or product demonstrations.
