Field Service Engineer - Laser Scanning Microscopy Equipment
Install, configure, calibrate, maintain, and repair Laser Scanning Microscopes and Digital Imaging Systems as well as related components and software.
Laser Components: Aspherical Focusing Lens, Expander Lens, Collimating Lens Systems, Focusing Rings, Acousto Optic Modulators, Output Coupler Mirrors, Wavelength Selector & Prism Controls, Birefringent Filters, Laser Cavity Folding Mirrors, GTI Dispersion Controls, Anisotropic Crystals, Pockels Cells, or similar.
Digital Imaging Systems and Components: CCD cameras, CMOS Image Sensors, Two Phase CCD Clocking schemes, Full-Frame Charged Coupled Devices, Metal Oxide Semiconductor (MOS) Capacitors, Avalanche Photodiodes, Photomultiplier Tubes, Spatial Light Modulators, Electron-Bombarded CCDs, Electron Multiplying CCDs, Sequential Color CCD Systems, Proximity-Focused Image Intensifiers, or similar.
***Schedule and perform preventative maintenance.
*** Troubleshoot electromechanical systems and related components.
*** Perform loop calibrations of various parameters for equipment and utilities in laboratory environments.
*** Maintain field parts inventory, testing devices, and tools.
*** Train on site personnel in operation and maintenance of equipment.
