Supply support services to new and existing customers by installing, repairing, and maintaining mass spectrometers, dispensing equipment, liquid handlers, computers, databases, and application software for research and commercial customers at customer sites.
*** Provide technical service to customers through the installation, calibration, repair, training, and maintenance of laboratory equipment and systems via phone, email, internet and on-site support.
*** Complete field change orders, customer complaint handling, and instrument configuration documentation for ISO compliance.
*** Serve as single-point-of-contact for customer on technical and service related issues.
*** Develop collaborative relationships with customer applications staff.
*** Interface with Sales Representatives, Customer Service, Applications & Technology, Product Support and other departments to support professional and comprehensive customer relationship management.
*** Promote and facilitate the sale of system service agreements.
*** Follow departmental protocol regarding service call scheduling, parts ordering, Return Materials Authorization, service call logging, and expense reporting.
*** Manage spare parts trunk-stock inventory and company owned test equipment.
