Travel to client facilities to assist with scheduled and unscheduled service activities including repairs, maintenance, testing, and calibrations for complex diagnostic imaging equipment such as CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine and Angio Cath systems.
*** Perform scheduled preventive maintenance according to policies, procedures and industry-recognized standards using specialized test equipment, tools, and simulation devices.
*** Maintain, service, troubleshoot, and calibrate complex diagnostic imaging systems using manufacturer service manuals, schematic diagrams, and vendor expertise.
*** Establish rapport with staff and keep clinical staff and management informed of repair status.
*** Maximize patient safety by supporting proper use, application and operational performance of patient care equipment.
*** Document all service events, performance tests, and corrective maintenance using computerized maintenance management software applications.
