Activities include the following:
*** Installing, configuring, commissioning and maintaining automated metal manufacturing machinery and control systems used in manufacturing process such as casting, forging, peening, forming, bending, and machining.
*** Programming, troubleshooting, debugging, and modifying code for machine controllers, sensors, actuators, servos, machine vision and human machine interfaces.
*** Working from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, flow diagrams, manuals, etc.
*** Ensuring all power, sensor, vision and motion components of machinery can communicate properly with controls systems.
*** Configuring controllers, sensors, machine vision, motors, servos, actuators, power modules, transformers, fuses, etc. based on application and control requirements.
The qualified candidate must have at least two years with systems involving application of FANUC, Motoman, Kuka, Kawasaki, ABB, or similar robotics.
