We are currently seeking a Field Service & Serviceability Manager. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.

You Will:

  • Develop strategy for planning and executing global technical field support for Lucid Motors vehicles
  • Partner with Design and Engineering to provide recommendations on serviceability while retaining original design intent
  • Support Lucid Motors marketing events by providing technical support of prototypes, release candidates, and production fleet
  • Collaborate with Service & Engineering departments to influence training and technical documents as related to service department, collision repair department, and product improvement
  • Partner with Engineering team on daily vehicle log review, identifying field issues and corrective actions
  • Acquire thorough understanding of Lucid Motors vehicle systems, field failure patterns, and customer use cases to develop diagnostic and root cause analysis methods
  • Partner with technical writer to co-create field service memos, bulletins, procedures, and other technical documents
  • Build a high impact team of Field Service/Sustaining & Serviceability Engineers and Field Technicians for global technical product support, covering all systems of Lucid Motors Vehicles

You Bring:

  • A track record of excellence in providing global technical product support for Service Technicians and other technical automotive personnel
  • Minimum 10 years varied automotive experience
  • Flexibility to travel as needed to support marketing events and service department needs
  • Ability to organize and drive continuous improvement
  • Exceptional ability to interface and collaborate with individuals, groups, and vendors
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience maintaining product and company reputation by complying with government regulations
  • Passion to continuously develop, improve, and maintain processes


  • Experience working in start-up environments

Education Requirements:

  • BS/MS in either Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or equivalent experience
