Job Summary:

We are expanding our organization and seeking Field Sales Reps to join our Corporate Sales teams. This role will be responsible for an assigned territory in the field for a particular business segment. The Field Sales Rep is responsible for building relationships in person and selling professional services and technology solutions to customers on a proactive basis. We are seeking team members with a proven track record of selling technology solutions (Converged Infrastructure, Networking, Storage, Servers and Services) to corporate customers.

 

You will be working with our field based Solution Architects (SA’s) and Technology Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) to help customers choose the right technology products and services to meet their needs. Acquire, manage and grow your customer base create and build consultative, long-term relationships with customers delivering, cost effective technology solutions.

Responsibilities

A dynamic sales professional, self-motivated starter, excited about technology with a  desire to be a part of an integrated sales team, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing strong relationships with key IT and executive decision makers
  • Selling PCM’s complete line of technology solutions to include software, hardware and professional and managed services
  • Meeting with customers consulting to create technology solutions for their business
  • Prospecting and developing new business relationships, turning into new buying accounts and managing and maintaining these accounts to grow successfully on an ongoing basis
  • Developing, maintaining, and leveraging strong relationships with OEM Partners and distributors
  • Meeting and exceeding sales goals while being responsible for overall account strategy development
  • Managing monthly appointment activity & sales calls to ensure successful delivery of customer & partner agreements while driving towards pipeline and forecast goals 
  • Understanding market and competitor knowledge as well as vendor/distributionpartnerships, leveraging to maximize best value and support for our customers

 

 

Qualifications

  • 8+ years' experience selling technology hardware, software or complex technical solutions to mid-market and enterprise accounts with a proven track record in prospecting, qualifying, and acquiring local accounts
  • Candidates currently in an outside technology sales role, employed with a Value Added Reseller/Systems Integrator are preferred
  • Thorough knowledge and relationships within the vendor partner community
  • Ability to travel locally within territory as needed
  • Certifications in at least one of the following Cisco, EMC, Microsoft, HP, NetApp and/or VMware Sales Certifications highly preferred
