The Field Reimbursement Managers (FRM) will be responsible for managing accounts in a specified region for the Neuro Therapeutic area to provide reimbursement education to HCP office personnel involved in reimbursement matters. The reimbursement education will focus on buy-bill, specialty pharmacy, and infusion reimbursement topics related to Soliris for the treatment of patients with anti-acetylcholine receptor (AchR) antibody-positive generalized myasthenia gravis (gMG). The FRM will provide reimbursement and access information and resources in support of an HCP’s independent clinical decision to use Soliris. By providing this education, the FRM will help to minimize reimbursement barriers for patients and providers and, therefore, help to optimize product access for patients with gMG.
The FRM will work closely with internal Alexion personnel in Market Access, the Neurology Commercial Marketing & Sales teams, and OneSource Case Managers that support patients. The FRMs will support targeted accounts through effective account planning, and by providing education to help resolve reimbursement issues or concerns. They will also develop ethical and customer-oriented reimbursement tactics, and proactively communicate payer criteria/terms and practices as these relate to reimbursement for Soliris.

Partner with Alexion counterparts in the Market Access team on overall account and territory strategy to maximize customer knowledge on payor access issues.
Act as a subject matter expert on the reimbursement landscape relevant to Soliris for gMG.
Develop short-term & long-term strategic account plans focusing on increasing education at the HCP level regarding reimbursement methods for Soliris for patients with gMG.
Proactively communicate and explain Alexion specific reimbursement programs, policies, procedures and resources to HCP office personnel related to access to Soliris for gMG; majority of FRM’s time is spent on in-person customer engagement.
Work with other internal Alexion personnel to understand business unit, market access, and regional field sales business plans and objectives, and share local market insights with colleagues to better understand barriers impacting access to Soliris for gMG.
Education and Experience:
Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in the healthcare and/or pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with buy and bill reimbursement, specialty pharmacy networks and the ability to teach an office the entire process from script to injection.
Experience with products that require prior authorization and clear understanding of billing, coding and in-office support for these programs.
Experience working through complex reimbursement issues.
Experience in launching a new specialty pharmaceutical/biologic product or indication.
Rare disease market development.

Ability to educate physicians and other healthcare professionals with confidence and expertise in an office procedural environment
Self-starter with a strong work ethic and ability to collaborate with medical practices and team members.
Ability to drive to assigned targets within the territory using own automobile or fleet vehicle (if provided by Publicis Health).
Ability to travel to work related meetings and functions and ability to travel overnight for 3-4 nights per week) – ability to travel up to 75%.
Valid driver’s license.
