Across both business and personal lines, organizes and operationalizes distribution and agency focusing initiatives within region and states. Serves as a primary resource in the territory for interaction with Distribution Operations, assisting in driving countrywide consistency in our agency management practices, developing & deploying region tactics to achieve critical operational objectives, support region leadership in premium and budget planning and monitoring. Coordinates the region agency council process and internal team meetings for both the Regional General Manager and the Region Managers/Directors of Distribution within the territory.
 
Responsibilities:

    Serves as primary field connection point with the various corporate functions to ensure field alignment with cross functional areas such as underwriting and finance.  Assures local alignment with national distribution initiatives.  Manages region agency compensation strategy, including agency profit sharing, promotions and commissions – managing results vs. plan, process execution & exceptions.
    Organizes and oversee logistics all agency councils.  Works with local leadership to establish agendas, secure meeting space and speakers, and assure appropriate travel and accommodations for all attendees.
    3.   Organizes and oversees logistics for internal meetings.  Assures organized and standardized agency reviews aligned with BL & PL expectations on agency selection, key discussion points, and action plans.  Attends agency reviews, summarizes next steps & monitors execution.
    4.    Under supervision of the Regional General Manager, creates and all local internal communications.
    5.    Supports the Regional General Manager in the development of the region and state strategies, including opportunity identification, tactical planning, deployment and results monitoring.  

Coordinates with Director of State Operations on local level reporting needs.  Acts as primary contact for reports, assuring alignment with territory needs

Qualifications:

 

  •     A minimum of 7 years of experience in the insurance industry, including regular interaction with agents and brokers.
  •     Able to demonstrate a working knowledge of Distribution tools and agency management tactics.
  •     Demonstrates a history of strong organizational skills, superior communication skills, and an ability to work independently.
