Responsibilities

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Primary responsibility for all technical and installation related issues
  • Assist RDE/Dispatch in daily reconciliation of installer related RDE problems and reports
  • Regularly review installation ADP time sheets to ensure efficient/effective utilization of hourly employees
  • Coordinate and manage installation staff and Expeditor related vacation and leave schedule
  • Monitor company van allocations, vehicle maintenance, gas cards, and driver violations for reporting to Operations planning
  • Responsible for installation staff and Expeditor adherence to established company policies
  • Provide in-house technical support to installation, support staff, and Expeditors
  • Coordinator and oversee monthly installer staff meetings and agenda in conjunction with management objectives
  • Administer yearly or interim performance appraisals for all instaltion staff
  • Formulate and oversee corrective action plans for underperforming LoJack installers and 3rd party installers
  • Responsible for initiating all personnel related actions on installation staff including recruiting, hiring, termination, salary adjustments and discipline. Provide documentation to Field Ops Manager for approval and execution
  • Monitor and maintain adequate job candidate pool for installers and Expeditors
  • Work with dispatch to maximize customer service satisfaction by resolving installer scheduling conflicts or other LoJack installation related problems within the market
  • Oversee and coordinate installation monthly/quarterly/year-end inventory counts and collection of associated documentation for the entire market due date
  • Provide information relating to the performance and status of all areas within your responsibility as requested by management
  • Coordinate and execute lot audits on all PIP Programs to insure all vehicles are being installed within the PIP agreement
  • Performance Score Cards are to be delivered and discussed in detail within a timely manner based on account designation
  • Coordinate and execute all new product equipment and programs as determined by operations planning
  • Deliever OSHA safely requirement based on state requirements

Quality Control

  • Maintain data integrity and tasks of CRM database for respected areas
  • Work to establish and maintain a high standard of technical excellence within the entire installation staff including all 3rd party entities
  • Review all Quality Assurance Inspections performed by Quality Assurance on the installation staff. Participate in random Quality Assurance spot checks as required
  • Establish and monitor corrective measures for improving quality in all installation/service areas
  • Update and maintain installation manuals and procedures in conjunction with corporate guidelines. Verify newly acquired information for accuracy and insure prompt disclosure to local installation staff and corporate 
  • Oversee local training of new installation personnel (LJ and 3rd party), as well as, the retraining of existing individuals as required.

Repair/Damage Assessment:

  • Coordinate and review immediate on-site damage evaluations and damage control resulting from LoJack related services
  • Negotiate all repair cost with service director to minimize cost of repair to LoJack
  • Provide technical customer serivce support for major problems with dealers and customers
  • Responsible for supervision of all LoJack related repair/service work within the market
  • Review all Service/Repair Evaluations conducted for  your market and ensure corrective actions are administered

Other Dutities

  • Maintain the company vehicle issued to you in accordance with the company vehicle policies
  • Complete a thorough inventory of all parts and equipment in your vehicle per company requirements or as request by management

Qualifications

Must Haves

  • Minimum 5 years 12 Volt experience
  • Knowledge of automotive wiring with excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Previous supervisory experience 
  • Strong interpersonal and motivational skills
  • General computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook and Excel)
  • Strong Customer Service skills
  • Able to work independently

 

Strong Pluses

  • Experience with automotive electronics such as GPS, car stereos, alarms or cellular phones
