Duties shall include: Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on MK-92 and associated equipment. Completes all related maintenance forms, logs, and records. Performs organization and intermediate level maintenance on fire control systems, equipment, and associated combat control systems test equipment. Operate and test fire control systems. Participate in weapons handling functions to operate and maintain no tactical computer systems and peripherals. Candidate must have experience with MK 92 fire control systems. The candidate will maintain effective customer communications and relations, and may provide onsite training of customer personnel. Candidate should be able to read and interpret drawings, blueprints and technical documentations and/or manuals to identify part numbers and technical specifications for materials required to repair and overhaul shipboard equipment.


U.S. Military or equivalent industrial experience required. Expert knowledge of the MK 92 Fire Control System, and ten (10) years’ experience as an Electronic Fire Control Systems.   Technician with experience in the operation, maintenance, test and repair of position related or similar equipment. Maintenance experience of at least six (6) years with the MK 92 Fire Control Systems is required. Candidate must travel internationally in support of USN Foreign Military Sales support. Physical demands may vary depending on the work location. Ability to stand; walk; stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. Required to sit at times; use hand to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms and climb or balance. Normal demands associated with troubleshooting and repairing Naval Combat Systems installed shipboard while in port. Ability to work in arduous circumstances OCONUS aboard foreign ships and shore based industrial worksites.
