MSX International is currently seeking Field Warranty Specialists responsible for providing in
depth reviews of dealer warranty process operations, focusing on customer concern
identification, repair capabilities and potential audit risk.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in the selection of dealerships to participate in the dealer warranty review program. Analyze dealership historical warranty performance. Manual review of pre-selected paid claims and associated dealership documentation; validate administrative procedures and ensure that the selected claims are compliant to the warranty policies. Analyze dealership service department processes, technician, service advisor and warranty administrator training. Advise and assist dealer on best practices with respect to warranty processes and compliance with the OEM warranty manual. Make recommendations and provide advice to dealers utilizing experience, discretion and independent judgement, under general supervision of the FWS Manager. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Extensive knowledge of warranty policy and procedure and fixed operations processes is required Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with one or more dealer management systems (ADP, R&R, CDK, etc.) is required Minimum of five years’ experience in warranty auditing projects. Knowledge of manufacturer models and technical aspects is preferred Knowledge of diagnosis (both mechanical and electronic) is preferred Knowledge of technical support material (tech manuals, bulletins, recalls) is preferred Computer literacy, especially Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook is required PHYSICAL DEMANDS Upwards of 80% travel required with overnight stays and layovers Work start and finish times must match dealer open and close time plus prep time before and report time after. Job requires prolonged periods of standing, walking, meeting, in a dealership environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to travel by air, bus, train, ferry and car (taxi, rental and/or personal). WORK ENVIRONMENT Reviews are conducted at dealer premises. Monday – Friday In dealership visits to be conducted during dealer business hours
