Work you’ll do As a Transformation Manager, you will:

  • Work with C-suite clients and/or heads of mission and mission-support business units to structure and drive complex, large-scale transformation programs across the full life-cycle of change, including
    • Assessment of internal and external trends representing mission threats or opportunities  
    • Organization and workforce diagnostics
    • Future-state vision and strategy development
    • Leadership and key internal and external stakeholder alignment
    • Operating model and organizational design
    • Transformation program planning and design
    • Implementation planning
    • Transformation management, including transformation governance and decision-making
    • Change readiness
  • Work with client account teams and their clients to shape, win, and lead transformation opportunities
  • Work with broader Deloitte practices to bring the best of Deloitte functional and industry capabilities to transformation efforts
  • Be a thought leader in Public Sector transformation through publications, public speaking, and related eminence activities
  • Train and grow the next generation of Public Sector transformation experts through recruitment, training, and mentorship of junior staff

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, human resources, communications, industrial and organizational development/psychology or a related discipline
  • Master’s Degree in business, public administration, or related discipline preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant commercial or government consulting experience focused on organization and/or workforce transformation, operating model/organizational diagnostics and design, performance improvement, and related topics
  • 3+ years in a technical or functional leadership role
  • Experience mentoring and coaching others
  • Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Experience managing senior-level client relationships
  • Experience presenting to clients or other decision makers to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical)
  • Pre-sales, proposal, and RFP experience
  • Proven track record of consistently attaining managed revenue targets as well as achieving quarterly or yearly sales objectives for new business
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain required clearance for this role
