Our client is a leading enterprise software producer, currently expanding their Federal presence and seeking a DC-based Account Executive to lead this effort. They currently have major federal clients (NASA, FDA, CMS, Marines, Air Force, etc.)... and are looking to expand that program with a talented AE who wants the opportunity to use their Federal software salesexperience in a target-rich, fast-paced environment with tremendous anchor accounts that will serve as great references.

What You?ll Do

  • You will be identifying, negotiating and closing big deals (typically $80K - $300K) in a defined territory. You will be working with agencies/departments to build solutions that allow them to win.
  • You will be called upon to utilize superior salesmanship to develop sales opportunities and identify the necessary decision makers and influencers of the prospective deal.
  • You will listen, identify and understand clients/prospective clients needs and deliver to their expectations. You will be able to build relationships with multiple stake holders and influence them in a positive way.
  • You will actively seek out new sales leads and business opportunities through active networking and utilizing business referrals.

ExperienceRequired:

  • You are one to the top 20% of the sales people in your current company/division. You have a track record of being one of the best. You are someone who pursues your passions with energy and commitment.
  • You?ve got 7-20 years of enterprise software salesexperience, including some recent federal salesexperience, meaning you know how to sell into the federal sector and have experienced the full range of obstacles when behind the wheel of creating complex & enterprise wide SaaS deals.

Compensation:

Base salary $120K - $140K, total comp at plan $240K - $280K, plus full benefits. Travel requirements 20%, car provided.
