The FCA Brand Advertising/Social Manager will lead the development of brand marketing strategies in support of the brand vision and vehicle portfolio, ultimately leading to a defined and strong market position and sales goal achievement.

Job responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Lead internal brand advertising FCA team and external Agency of Record (AOR) and/or creative agencies in developing annual business plans, calendar of deliverables and project timing
  • Partner with the brand leadership team through full immersion into their brand, clear understanding of brand objectives and strategy, and depth understanding on measuring success and a clear understanding of demand metrics and ability to apply that knowledge to make brand marketing decisions
  • Lead weekly brand status meetings, new vehicle launch team meetings and creative concept review meetings
  • Oversee annual creative production budgets, facilitate budget requests and quarterly scope and budget reconciliation
  • Leverage expert level knowledge of industry and competitive activity, identify best-practices, and source / provide insight on new (innovative) approaches that support benchmark creative and advertising communication; lead for delivering innovative marketing and advertising solutions
  • Understand and interpret analytic tools, dashboard reports, data and data insights to influence brand communications positioning, creative messaging, and other consumer touchpoints
  • Lead for all social strategy and content — from concept through execution
  • Lead, navigate, and manage all creative approvals from director through executive level reviews
  • Active participant in Brand Advertising Head, North America Marketing Head, and Brand CEO staff meetings with responsibility for updating and presenting business updates and creative projects

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field
  • 10+ years of brand marketing/management, brand communications, advertising or related experience
  • 5+ years of experience managing people
  • Competence and presence to lead a team, interact and influence executive level marketing and brand leaders
  • Direct and manage a team of advertising agency account managers through strategic planning, production and creative personnel from strategic development to creative development to execution of creative campaigns and recap and reporting of results
  • Experience building 360-degree marketing campaigns inclusive of advertising, digital and social media tactics
  • Brand strategy development experience
  • Social strategy and execution experience
  • Excellent presentation development and delivery skills
  • Exceptional team player and thought leader with credibility and integrity to earn peer, senior management and cross-functional team confidence quickly
  • Aptitude to listen and fully understand the various needs of internal stakeholders and successively propose defined solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree
  • Automotive marketing/client or agency experience
