Job Summary: The Failure Analysis Lab Engineer is responsible for investigating and analyzing product failures and defects in battery products, including EV battery packs and modules. This role plays a pivotal part in identifying root causes of failures and recommending improvements to enhance product quality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth analysis of battery product failures and defects.
• Use various diagnostic tools and equipment to investigate and determine the root causes of failures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality, R&D, and Engineering, to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain and calibrate specialized lab equipment for accurate analysis.
• Document and report findings, including root cause analysis and recommendations for improvement.
• Assist in the development and improvement of failure analysis methodologies and procedures.
• Collaborate with external experts and labs for advanced failure analysis when necessary.
• Mentor and train lab technicians in proper failure analysis techniques and protocols.

Required Qualifications:

• 3 to 7 years of experience in failure analysis, quality engineering, or a related field, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Educational background in a relevant field, such as Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

Base Pay Information: Base pay is one component of our total compensation package and is determined within a specific range. The specific base pay for the Failure Analysis Lab Engineer role will depend on factors including the candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Base pay is one part of our total compensation package at Gotion, and is determined within a range. This provides you with the opportunity to progress as you grow and advance your career at Gotion. The base pay range for this role is shown below, and will depend on your skills, qualifications, experiences, and location.

Expected Pay Range

$85,000-$115,000 USD
