We are currently seeking a Facility Administrator, Senior Manager in Workplace to join our team to assist with CSRA facility and space utilization planning, consistent with our organizational efficiency goals and budget.

Task and responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Manage and/or oversee brokers, real-estate and facility vendors
  • Conduct real estate audits and surveys
  • Provide strategic leadership in managing CSRA’s real estateportfolioincluding:Maintain CSRA’s real estate internal systems of record on a daily basis
    • Developing cost-effective real estate solutions in alignment with the needs of the business
    • Evaluating and making recommendations related to location, length of lease term, financial commitment, exit strategies and operating expense budgets
    • Identifying opportunistic lease extensions, renewals, and terminations for review with business unit and executive management
    • Monitoring and developing strategies to mitigate risk
    • Coordinating within the Workplace team to understand and provide input to the scope, timing and cost of strategic business decisions as they relate to real estate transactions
  • Optimize the CSRA’s facility real estate portfolio to maximize efficiency and effectiveness, and reduce cost
  • Coordinate financial analyses and develop business cases for acquiring and relinquishing space
  • Obtain input from the Workplace design and construction, operations, and client services teams on lease terms
  • Partner with legal resources to review and guide lease and other real estate transaction documents through the approval process
  • Develop, recommend, and implement property administration policies
  • Provide guidance on company policy and government regulations pertaining to real estate accountability
  • Prepare periodic and special-purpose reports relative to such matters as taxes, rentals and leasing, insurance, facility usage, etc.
  • Prepare or provide input to senior leadership briefings

To qualify, you must meet these basic qualifications: 

  • 10 years of experience with corporate real estate and facility transactions, with an emphasis on leasing
  • BachelorDegree from an accredited institution

It would be great if you also had:

  • Familiarity with real estate transactions from project initiation through lease execution including acquisitions, dispositions, renewals, restructures, reductions, consolidations and subleases
  • Familiarity with GAAPfinancial analyses, including capital expenditures, annual lease costs, depreciation, TI’s and project budgets
  • Familiarity with green leasing principles
  • Familiarity with U.S. government IT contracting
  • Ability to regularly, effectively, and appropriately communicate both verbal and written information to client and team to achieve real estate management goals
  • Highly organized, proactive, with strong analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to interact with executive level external and internal clients as well as external team members (architects, engineers, contractors, client’s representatives, etc.)
  • Fully competent at managing all types/sizes of leasing deals
  • Fluent with, Tririga, MS (Word, Excel, Project, Powerpoint and Outlook)
