Description

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Facilities Manager in Tempe, Arizona (AZ). This is a working manager role with strong involvement on day-to-day operations. Responsibilities:

  • Directs the day-to-day operations for all facilities to ensure facility safety and compliance standards are met, including OSHA, NEC, fire safety codes, and municipal building codes
  • Planning the utilization of facilities in accordance with requirements of organizational efficiency
  • Accountable for project management, contract administration, proposing and managing the operational budgets for department, negotiating contracts and purchasing of all maintenance supplies, employee and vendor relations, building and grounds maintenance, safety and security, Cafe services, and performing various administrative functions
  • Facilities maintenance technicians
  • Perform and manage equipment PM schedule to ensure equipment downtimes are minimized

Requirements

  • 7 years of experience in facility management
  • Holds a state license in Electrical or HVAC
  • Understand building systems
  • Experience working in an Electronic Manufacturing environment is a plus
  • Good negotiating and communication skills
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Strong supervisory skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to perceive problems and react quickly to effect solutions
  • Ability to visually inspect premises
  • Ability to work outside in extremetemperatures for short periods of time
  • Physical capabilities needed to perform the job
