Position Summary

Join the Epic facilities team and you will learn new skills and stretch yourself technically as you work to maintain and improve our 6+ million square foot campus. As part of having a truly Epic job, you will enjoy guaranteed year-round, full-time hours.

You will be working closely with our Facilities Director in the overall maintenance and operating activities at Epic. You will be responsible for managing people and a wide variety of facilities-related activities, including: master planning of future facilities and related infrastructure; design and construction of new facilities, including selection of critical building components; maintenance and upgrading of current facilities and equipment; preventive maintenance of sophisticated mechanical, electrical, and other building systems; efficient allocation of resources and utilization of space; and effective management of facilities staff and expenditures. These tasks integrate principles of planning, engineering, construction, facilities operations and maintenance, personnel management, and financial analysis.

  • 5 - 7 years of experience in Facilities Management
  • Bachelor's degree (or greater) in business, or in mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering preferred. Will consider equivalent work experience.
  • A history of academic and professional success
  • Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • Relocation to Madison, Wisconsin (relocation assistance available)
