F-35 MissionSystem Engineer

Key Role:

Support F-35 mission system (MS) software activities by applying subject matter expertise in supporting F-35 flight certification and safety activities for fusion, external communications, fire control navigation and stores, and mission or data collection software domains. Analyze and comprehend variances and assess contractor planning and estimating, cost, schedule, technical performance of the contractor, and risks and provide input and recommendations to independent government estimates, award fee criteria, and performance assessments on prime software domains. Review and analyze technical artifacts, including requirement work packages, detailed requirement work packages, software requirement specification, interface work packages, test plans, procedures, and results, aircraft operating limits, software product anomaly reports, software metrics, contract data requirement lists, and bases of estimates, and provide a government independent assessment on technical maturity, leading indicators, and the quality of the software products.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with engineering analysis

-Experience with leading a team

-Active Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree
