We Offer

 

  • Manage and execute an events and conferences, ranging in size from 10 to 1000 attendees, from conception to reconciliation – to include pre-event organization, event brief, management of budget, execution onsite including management of staff, presentation of final cost analysis, client survey
  • Work closely with the Branding team to ensure the overall brand strategy is applied to events and conferences.  Find ways to further enhance the branding of Credit Suisse, by being forward-thinking to anticipate future trends and provide positioning recommendations to define brand elements and tone
  • Provide the highest quality client/attendee experience by ensuring all event logistics, staging and production are thoroughly planned and flawlessly executed
  • Take ownership of an event and be able to work either independently, as Lead Planner with / without an assigned event planner and/or freelancer(s) – good ability to act as mentor
  • Manage cross-departmental project teams of internal customers and external vendors to define project scopes, business requirements, set deliverables, and keep projects on schedule and within budget
  • Ability to conduct effective meetings and interact effectively and efficiently with event hosts (internal) and 3rd party suppliers (internal and external) to discuss objectives and goals of meeting/event and communicate clearly event information
  • Oversee a disciplined eventbudgeting and tracking processes to ensure all event costs are budgeted and actual expenses documented and reconciled to final budgets
  • Ability to read, fully understand and negotiate all aspects of vendor contracts to ensure the Firm is legally protected and to significantly contribute to Firm’s overall cost savings through vendor negotiations
  • Work effectively with other departmental team members; maintain a positive, efficient workflow for all projects and provide any appropriate suggestions or innovate ideas for the improvement of workflow processes
  • Excellent time management skill set with the ability to multi-task effectively
  • Strong problem solving skills – proven record of adapting to change and handling crisis situations effectively
  • Provide pre-event and on-site management and training to all event planners, especially team members – i.e. rooming list, transportation, eventbudgeting, F&B, activities – to further develop skill sets of the department
  • Oversee a disciplined post-event analysis and reporting process to evaluate event impact and success against objectives and KPIs e.g. de-brief with host and include notations made to event file
  • Ensure that all written documentation is consistently accurate and professionally written

You Offer

 

  • Minimum 10+ years’ experience in Event Planning
  • Lead planner on high level complex events – 10 to 1000  attendees, multiple speakers, multiple activities, tracking of all event registration data, execution onsite with staff
  • Investment bankingevent planning experience a plus
  • Strong management ability/personal skills with crisis management ability
  • Strong overall organization, written and oral communication skill set
  • Strong comprehensive knowledge of the region and travel/destinations/venues
  • Proven contract negotiating skills
  • Well-spoken and confident
  • Example of adherence to policy and management directives
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Access
