And we're looking for an experienced Microsoft 365 Solutions Architect to join our team of talented professionals supporting a diverse and prestigious client base. In your role, you will design and refine Microsoft solutions at a high level, leveraging technology to make our clients' businesses run smoother and more efficiently. This is a full-time, in-person position with regular hours from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, and a 1-hour lunch break. Some after-hours support will be needed for client emergencies and pre-planned projects.
Our ideal candidate lives and breathes the Microsoft collaboration stack-Office, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams (including Teams Voice). He or she knows their way around the Azure Cloud and is comfortable deploying and managing AVD environments. And they take pride in mentoring talented colleagues in the ways of Layer 3-and beyond.
Please note that we are looking for local candidates in Palm Beach County. This is not a remote position.
Responsibilities
• Research, Design, and Implement Microsoft Technology Solutions: This includes handling cloud platforms (Azure, Nerdio), virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V), and Microsoft 365 environments (Azure, Intune, SharePoint, Teams, Exchange, Identity)
• M365 Management: Setting up, configuring, managing, and maintaining Microsoft 365 environments for client organizations, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams administration
• Intune Management: Advanced proficiency in Intune Management is key.
• Project Lead & Execution: Work alongside project managers in complex cloud migration and hybrid network integration projects, which may include network performance optimization and capacity planning. Create and maintain related technical documentation, network diagrams, etc.
• Cybersecurity: Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies and compliance frameworks within Microsoft environments. Experience with firewall technologies (WatchGuard and SOPHOS preferred) and network security architecture is considered a plus
• Customer Support: You may be called on to address complex client support tickets with excellent remote and on-site customer service. This includes handling escalations of service tickets involving complex technical issues
• Collaboration: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to department colleagues and work with sales and account management teams to develop technical solutions for client needs
• Documentation: The position requires creating, developing, and maintaining advanced technical documentation, network diagrams, and system architecture blueprints
• Project Lead & Execution: The Microsoft 365 Solutions Architect will work alongside our project manager in complex cloud migration and hybrid network integration projects, and perform high-level network performance optimization, and capacity planning. They are also responsible for creating, developing, and maintaining technical documentation, network diagrams, and system architecture blueprints
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have:
• 5-10 years of professional technical support experience
• Microsoft Administration-related Certifications (such as MCSE)
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team (must be a "team player")
• Adaptability to effectively work in a fast-paced environment
