What You Will Do:As Executive Vice President of Human Capital, you’ll help us attract, retain, and reward the most innovative people by creating programs to help them thrive. You will serve as our “accelerator” of company growth and ensure our stakeholders are stewards of our structured yet flexible culture, deepen our organizational effectiveness, grow our talent and proactively partner with the business to anticipate change and deliver on the vision of our leaders.  The EVP of HC collaborates with the Chief People Officer (CPO), senior leaders, Board of Advisors to build, reinforce, and safeguard the organizational culture to exceed our customers’ and employees’ expectations. The EVP of HC will provide a vision and value proposition for Human Resources as well as advice, counsel and guidance in creating and promoting an enduring, highly-productive, innovative, ethical, engaged, visionary and results-oriented Employer of Choice organization.

Strategic Activities

  • Champions the Mission and Culture – continues to build and strengthen the unique culture of TASC to support high performance, execution, and continuous improvement, while empowering our people, developing them to realize their potential and creating an environment of aspiration that drives engagement, passion and competitive advantage
  • Maintains a HR function that executes with accuracy and efficiency and delivers value in support of TASC’s strategic plan
  • Translate strategy into operational execution to accelerate momentum, engagement and alignment
  • Leads corporate and departmental initiatives with a mind-set of caring, consideration, relationship building, and accountability for results, engagement and success
  • Create transparency through effective communication to focus mindshare and empowering others

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Provides principled leadership and stewardship of progressive and scalable HR
  • Advocates long-term success through growth, a positive company reputation and favorable financial performance by encouraging ongoing learning, aligning goals with the business strategies and honoring team behaviors that are consistent with the core values
  • Drives the development of strategic total compensation offerings, programs and practices, ensuring market competitiveness by considering relevant trends and returns on investment
  • Builds and supports the organization’s diversity and inclusion efforts
  • Facilitates employee development to acquire the necessary skills to advance; with focus on developing talent bench strength and providing ongoing coaching, development experiences and mentoring of leadership and talent
  • Leads commitment to the TASC stakeholders as an employer of choice through regular listening and response through employee feedback surveys, action-planning and follow-though for improvement
  • Oversees the budget process and cost efficiencies for HR, including general ledger items: salaries, benefits, variable and sales incentives, technology and vendor costs and monitors monthly variances and reporting, including turnover management
  • Oversees the preparation and reporting requirements for: governmental agencies, external and internal auditors, fiduciary and insurance service providers and internal departments, as needed.  Manages, updates and implements Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity programs. Oversees the completion and filing of regulatory compliance reports on federal, state and local levels
  • Responds to and engages as a trusted decision maker on escalated employee relations matters in a proficient, fact based and thoughtful manner
  • Acts as a liaison to TASC’s employment legal counsel on various matters
  • Actively promotes TASC’s brand, internally and externally, and serves as a business leader and partner through participation in community-based and professional organizations


  • Bachelor's or Master degree in Business, HR or related field
  • 10+ years’ experience in HR Leadership role, including compensation and benefits operations and management
  • Team player with strong leadership skills. Solution driven and positive approach
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate complex scenarios in a clear, concise manner
  • Strong ability to partner, influence key stakeholders and drive cross functional team accountability
  • Ability to lead, coach and inspire the team and create a strong culture of operational excellence and customer service.
