The Executive Search Researcher will partner with Executive Recruiters and take an active role in defining, analyzing and launching innovative executive recruitment strategies for VP and above level roles across the entire organization. This position will requires expertise in market research, talent mapping and identification of top-notch executive-level talent for this Fortune 100 communications company with an employee population of nearly 100,000.

Design and execute market mapping, market research and talent engagement strategies, producing comprehensive reports detailing relevant target companies, possible market sources and candidates for active assignments

Alongside the Executive Recruiters, sit in on launch meetings, create robust job and candidate specifications and help define talent engagement strategies

Research, identify and document prospective leadership candidates, ensuring qualified diverse pipelines for active searches through targeted research

Strategically build and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for future opportunities utilizing the Executive Search CRM and other research tools

Develop strategies to warehouse and make the CRM data searchable

Analyze effectiveness of efforts through data analysis and reporting

Undertake background research which will serve as supporting material for competitive analysis, strategic planning, and workforce planning; delivering information in a readily readable presentation format, providing high value-add market knowledge

Introduce prospects to the firm as and when required, always aware of the need for identifying potential new hires for the firm

Participate in on-boarding and training new research hires

Mentor and develop future junior members of the team

Perform other duties as requested

Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Strong business acumen with the ability to understand & interpret complex business needs and business structure
Experience leveraging talent and market insights and data to influence executive-level audiences
Experience managing data within an Executive Search CRM
Ability to filter large amounts of information, quickly identify the salient points and provide relevant insights
Excellent communication skills, particularly the ability to interact credibly on the telephone with others at all levels in an organization
Excellent writing skills and ability to produce focused relevant documentation for internal clients
Highly organized and able to productively work independently
Outstanding time management skills and ability to prioritize
IT skills covering MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint
Quick thinker, bright, smart, intuitive
Self-starter, able to deliver within deadlines while multi-tasking
Excellent attention to details
Flexible and resilient

Bachelor's degree or equivalent training, education, and experience

Related Work Experience
Minimum 5+ years of research experience, identifying VP and above level candidates, within an executive search firm or corporate environment
