The Executive Recruiter will support the hiring needs of the most senior leaders at Gartner, including facing off and partnering with Operating Committee executives.Responsible for direct sourcing, candidate engagement and qualifying VP and above level talentthis person should be expert at sourcing and able to pivot to support multiple lines of business.As a trusted advisor to their business (clients) with regards to search strategy, targeted recruitment channels and market conditions, the executive recruiter will need to develop a thorough understanding of the business and the client needs.
Develop sourcing strategy with hiring managers, partnering closely to understand and account for team dynamic and culture
Actively pursue all channels (Linked In, professional networks, social media, and association affiliations) to source, attract and effectively close best in class talent for senior level roles
Manage the full recruitment cycle for complex executive level roles; liaise with internal business partners
Maintain strict discretion/confidentiality with details of searches
Maximize direct hiring by using creative sourcing techniques and cultivating talent for current and future needs
Maintain data integrity within our applicant tracking system, and other systems of record ensuring timely and accurate entry of data.
Advise executive level hiring managers on interview skills and interview process to maximize efficiency
Must be able to prioritize among multiple requisitions, conflicting priorities, and short timelines
Build pipelines of senior level candidates for bench strength and succession planning by developing and proactively managing a network of recruitment and referral sources
Provide coaching and guidance to junior level recruiting staff
Bachelor s Degree
Minimum 10-15 years of experience in a recruitment or search firm responsible for full life cycle recruiting including direct research, direct sourcing, market mapping, market/competitive intelligence
Preferred previous "in house" recruitment experience handling complex and executive level hiring with hiring manager contact up to senior most organizational level
Proven use of networking/social channels to build candidate pools, and proven knowledge and experience of Internet sourcing, Linked In and other boards
Executive presence and EQ to successfully work with the most senior executives and their respective teams
Proven ability to work collaboratively with others in a results driven, high integrity, fast paced environment
