UT Health Physicians and the Primary Care Center at the Joe R. & Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio have an opening for a board-certified or board-eligible Family Medicine or General Internal Medicine physician that will serve as the Executive Health Program Director and a primary care provider. This position will hold a faculty title of Assistant Professor or higher as appropriate for applicant's experience and career trajectory.
We are seeking qualified individuals with a strong commitment to patient-centered and innovative team-based primary care. Clinically, applicants should be prepared to manage a wide range of complex problems presenting in primary care, including chronic care and prevention. Proven experience in executive health and/or service as a medical director or other leadership position is preferred. Demonstrated success in fundraising and networking is also desired.
