responsible for a World-Class Polymer Injection Molding manufacturing operation. This position provides technical leadership, strategic direction and operational management to drive financial and operational success of a 24x7 manufacturing organization, constituting 60+ employees.

Required education, experience, and competencies:

PhD in Plastics Engineering or related discipline

Ten plus years' experience (starting with demonstrated hands-on technical and gradual progression towards management) in high-precision injection molding production environment and high-technology automation environment

Strong technical skills and knowledge in the field of automation and injection molding

Automation: concepts, suppliers, mechanical and electronics

Molding: process and plastics materials knowledge, suppliers and machinery

Strong project management skills

Travel requirements:

There will be an extended training period in the first year spanning several months, depending on prior experience and current level of hands-on expertise.

After the first year, international travel is anticipated once per quarter.
