Executive Director, Rideout Health Foundation

The Executive Director serves as a key leadership team member and an active participant in make strategic decisions affecting Rideout Health. This position is responsible for management of all fundraising and development activities including expanding and diversifying the organization’s funder base; will forge new relationships to build Rideout Health’s visibility, impact, and financial resources. The Executive Director will design and implement a comprehensive plan for developing key external alliances by cultivating individual and philanthropic support.

KNOWLEDGE: Ability to influence and engage a wide range of donors and build long-term relationships. Flexible and adaptable style; a leader who can positively impact both strategic and tactical fundraising initiatives.
SKILLS: High energy and passion for Rideout Health’s mission is essential. Ability to construct, articulates, and implement annual strategic development plan. Strong communications and relationship-building skills with all levels of employees. Effective leadership skills, creative and visionary problem solver. Develop and implement a strategic development plan.
EXPERIENCE: 10+ years of professional experience in a nonprofit organization; demonstrated success in a development function (managing and forging relationships with multiple donor sources). Tangible experience of having expanded and cultivated existing donor relationship over time required. Prior experience in Fund Development and/or in Charitable Foundation Leadership. Experience in the field of health care preferred.
LICENSE: Bachelor’s degreerequired. Master’s preferred.
