The Executive Director of Business Development is primarily responsible for the leadership of strategic assessment of novel, competitive and potentially synergistic therapeutic compounds or devices in our customers' lines of business and secondarily responsible for clinical and pipeline strategy. The role will lead others in the assessment of the competitive landscape, form an opinion on both internal and external targets and project potential peak sales for those assets accordingly, as well as delegate and manage the BD work of other colleagues. The Executive Director will have the outline the strategic alternatives available to the organization, including a focus on new market opportunities, current and new lines of business and other strategic initiatives including but not limited to product in-licensing.
