My client is a successful fast growing multi $100 Million diversified US based premiere apparel company servicing all tiers and tradechannels of distribution. The company has been in business for over 20 years and designs, develops, sources, produces and distributeslicensed and private label apparel.  They seek to hire an EVP of Licensing to be located at their corporate offices in North Orange County, CA.

This position will be responsible identifying, evaluating, negotiating and managing strategic licensing partnerships in order to grow their licensing division.

The right candidate must have 10 or more years in consumer products licensing including at least 5 years in a similar role managing a volume in excess of $50 Million.

Experience needs to include daily communication with licensors, securing new licensing opportunities, driving the business through management of sales forecasting, by license, while working with sales to ensure sales plans are achieved, cultivating new relationships and representing the company as the primary contact with major licensors.  The EVP will also be responsible for the licensing team from a Director to Brand Mangers and Licensing Coordinators.

Responsibilities:

*Daily Communication with licensors

*Search and secure all new license opportunities

*Drive business thru financials. Work closely with sales and merchandisers to ensure that sales plans are achieved

*Cultivate all licensor relationships, new and current

*Provide oversight for all sales forecasting for each of the licenses

*Front facing representative with all major licensors

*Maintain and control all current contracts and renewals with over 125 licensors

*Train and develop the Director of Licensing, Ensure that communication is delegated to entire team

*Train and develop all Senior and Brand Managers to ensure that they are a sales first driven team

*Work closely with creative and sales team to ensure that licensor visions and requests are incorporated into presentations

*Ensure that all pertinent licensing information is distributed and educate all sales and merchandise staff on new and existing licenses

Qualifications:

*10 or more years in consumer products licensing, 5 or more years in a similar role as described above

*Prior responsibility for at least $50 Million in licensed product sales annually
