The NowSecure Events & Field Marketing Manager will work across marketing, sales, business development, services, customer success and our partner community to drive partner/prospect/customer engagement in the field. Your mission is to deliver events and co-marketing activities that will drive brand awareness and engagement, helping us grow our business and our partner community.

Our ideal candidate will have Events and Field marketing experience with a roll-up-your-sleeves work ethic and a passion for all aspects of events/field marketing. This role will be based in the Washington, DC Metro area. This position will report to the CMO.

Responsibilities: I want to and can do that!

  • Develop, execute and measure events and field marketing programs for NowSecure.
  • Align regional marketing programs with corporate Go-to-Market strategies and deliver results through outbound marketing activities and events.
  • Host over 20 field events of all sizes: large (RSA, BlackHat, etc), medium (Jenkinsworld, DevOps Enterprise, FS-ISAC, AppSecUSA, etc) and small (local OWASP Meetups)
  • Drive high ROI of field events by optimizing the full event lifecycle including pre event, during event and post event activities across marketing and sales
  • Organize and host customer user group meetups, welcome events, annual user conference and more
  • Capture, analyze and report on field marketing and partner marketing ROI, contribution to pipeline opportunities and closed won revenue
  • Manage to budget, wrangle vendors and track ROI in detail
  • Working with BD, sales and exec teams, continually seek high value partner and event opportunities

Requirements: I've already done that or have that!

  • 3+ years experience with proven success in events/field marketing
  • Must have experience with B2B tech software/hardware selling to enterprise buyers
  • Experience with Security, AppDev, Mobile Technology, and/or SaaS a bonus
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator
  • Strong budgeting skills
  • Must be highly organized with full attention to detail
  • Strong project management skills – the ability to own and drive schedules from start to finish, including managing peers and individuals senior to you
  • Ability to manage long-term project plans from inception to "hands-on" final stage implementation
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to use data to make decisions.
  • Ability to identify popular themes that our audience would engage with for interesting events, partner and customer activities
  • Experience in a start-up environment preferred
  • Last but not least: a sense of humor, positive "can-do" attitude, and fun to work with
