Responsibilities:

  • Participate in meetings and discussions with Functional/Technical Leads to understand the requirements and build out a technical design
  • Support the data conversion team in data analysis, leverage legacy data sets, and proactively provide the results of the analysis to the client/internal teams to help accelerate legacy data corrections and/or formalization of business rules for effective data migration
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure the code written complies with the company standards and policies
  • Develop code leveraging multiple ETL environments for development, testing, and production
  • Use industry standard naming conventions, coding standards and best practices
  • Prepare the Requirements and Design documents
  • Remain accountable for data migration requirement analysis, design, development, testing, and execution
  • Interact with all levels of an organization in a professional, diplomatic, and tactful manner

Qualifications:

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or another similar STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) discipline
  • 3+ years of experience working as an ETL Developer using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
  • Previous experience working in a healthcare environment
  • Must have experience and extensive knowledge in the following areas:
  • Working with SQL Server
  • Building ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
  • Developing and optimizing complex stored procedures
  • Working with user defined functions and triggers (scaler and table functions)
  • Performing database modeling and design
  • Executing SQL best practices in regards to security and privacy
  • Following SDLC and Agile development practices
  • Excellent communication skills (oral/written) and the ability to interact with multiple teams in a diverse setting encompassing both technical and non-technical users
  • Must be willing to work independently and/or as part of a team in an energetic, team-oriented environment managing systems of varying size and complexity with a fast turn-around time

Preferred

  • Familiar with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSIS)
