We are seeking an A/R Escalation Analyst to join the McKesson Medical-Surgical team! This position may be based in Plymouth, MN; Jacksonville, FL: or Richmond, VA.
The Escalation Analyst is responsible for analyzing the status of existing and new accounts to ensure the proper accounting procedures and policies are followed, and for coordinating between customers and internal parties to resolve any discrepancies or issues.
Correspond and negotiate with complex and/or large dollar accounts
Discuss account resolution with internal parties
Perform complex problem-solving
Typically requires 5+ years of related experience
5+ years’ experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit and/or B2B Collections
Intermediate proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook)
BA Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or equivalent business experience
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Decision making, initiative, and the ability to resolve difficult and complex issues
Analytical skills in reviewing trend data and exception recognition
Strong customer focus
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
Thorough in work
Strong negotiation skills
Ability to handle difficult conversations with Senior Leaders at the customer
Large percent of time performing computer-based work is required
General office demands
