SUMMARY:
The Equity and Retirement Plan Administrator is responsible for partnering with HR leadership in the administration and vendor management for 401(k), stock-based equity programs, and other compensation programs as assigned.  Some travel may be required.  The Equity and Retirement Plan Administrator reports directly to the Compensation and Benefits Manager and indirectly serves as a member of the Shared Services team.
 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND KEYRESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages the development, implementation, and administration of 401(k), stock-based equity programs, and othercompensation programs, policies and procedures that support the Company’s goals, including talent acquisition/retention objectives
  • Serves as the Company’s subject matter expert on 401(k) and stock-based equity programs; trains HR and other employees on necessary program provisions
  • Manages all aspects of the stock-based equity plan, including coordination with HR and accounting on awards, interaction with vendors/software to timely and correctly administer participant accounts and grants, and management of the vesting process with vendors, participants and payroll
  • Manages all aspects of the 401(k) plans, including eligibility, enrollment and audit; oversees annual testing and audit, performs routine plan analysis and develops employee education plans to drive participation
  • Audits plan participation, payroll deductions, and ensures benefit interfaces between payroll and plan providers work reliably and as intended
  • Responsible for company compliance with all state and federal guidelines including IRS, DOL and SEC; ensures timely distribution of all required government filings, benefits documents and notices to plan providers, agencies, employees and other plan participants
  • Ensures program and data integrity by conducting regular audits of programs assigned
  • Prepares relevant schedules and other materials for board meetings, and audits to ensure approved data is loaded into Diligent application as required
  • Serves as 401(k) and equity plan liaison to associates; ensures that inquiries related to programs, policies, and procedures are clearly and accurately addressed in a timely manner
  • Develops and executes communications for 401(k), equity and other assigned programs
  • Participates in the NN, Inc. 401(k) planInvestment Committee meetings; coordinates the distribution of information and meeting minutes, and follows up on open action items
  • Creates and maintains records and files of escalated vendor and associate issues, with attention to accuracy and confidentiality
  • Analyzes and improves upon current 401(k) and stock-based equity program practices and procedures

  EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, human resources or related field
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in compensation/benefits analysis, financial analysis, banking or public accounting with experience with equity instruments
  • An understanding of principles and practices of equity and retirement plan administration, including relevant laws and regulations
  • Working knowledge of ERISA, IRS, DOL and SEC regulations, as they relate to equity and retirement plans
  • Ability and willingness to travel to domestic and international NN locations, as needed

Desired:

  • Experience with HR information systems (HRIS)
  • CEBS certification
  • Carrier-side compensation and/or benefit analysis and administration
