Roblox is looking for an Equity Administrator to join our close-knit equity team! You will work on various projects in a team environment and independently. You are experienced in running simultaneous projects and will respond to the team's changing priorities. This is a full-time, hybrid role in our San Mateo office reporting to the Senior Manager, Equity.
You Will:
  • Assist with the administration of our global RSU, stock options and ESPP programs
  • Help maintain integrity of data in the equity administration database
  • Prepare calculations and related journal entries for RSU releases, stock options exercises, ESPP purchases and stock-based compensation expense (SBC)
  • Perform quarterly fluctuation analysis of SBC
  • Prepare quarterly forecast of SBC and share dilution
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly reconciliations of equity accounts, stock plan reserves, shares outstanding and SBC tax reporting
  • Help with equity-related disclosures and valuations for Form 10-Q, Form 10-K and proxy statements
  • Help with Section 16 filings (Form 3, 4, and 5) and 10b5-1 plan reviews
  • Work closely with the payroll team to ensure income and tax withholdings for RSU releases, option exercises and W-2s are accurate
  • Prepare quarterly reports for China SAFE filings
  • Analyze processes to make recommendations and improvements
  • Support SOX compliance of equity process and provide documentation for multiple controls testing
  • Help with internal and external audits relating to equity matters
  • Provide excellent customer service to equity plan participants at all levels and to partners across departments
  • Assist with Finance, Payroll, People, Tax, Comp and Legal with ad-hoc projects as needed
You Have:
  • 5+ years experience in equity administration with a public company and global company experience
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with EquiView, Workday and NetSuite a plus
  • Experience with high-volume equity plans
  • Intermediate to advanced skills using Excel (can perform complex functions such as VLOOKUP, IF and pivot tables)
  • Familiarity with U.S. GAAP accounting and SEC regulations as it relates to equity administration including ASC718
  • Experience presenting with team members and partners across all levels
  • CEP Level 1 or 2 is a plus


For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.

Annual Salary Range

$127,570-$156,270 USD

Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
