Avaya is looking for a Stock Plan Administrator responsible for the administration of Avaya’s equity plans, as well as providing equity compensation reporting and analytical support. Major responsibilities include administrating day-to-day and annual restricted stock activity, the Global Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), partnering with the Payroll, Legal and Finance departments on equity related activity, and providing support for various executive compensation related matters. Attention to detail and analytical skills are critical to be successful in this role, as well as the ability to manage our third-party stock administration vendor, Fidelity.
End-to-end processing of restricted stock unit vesting
Manage stock option exercise process
Process stock grants including loading grants and agreements on-line at Fidelity
Administer the Global Employee Stock Purchase Plan – manage enrollment periods, monitor deduction, and refund activity, execute purchase each quarter
Manage third part vendor, Fidelity
Partner with Legal department on quarterly blackout processes and provide information for SEC reporting for Section 16b
Provide outstanding customer service to various departments and employees
Maintain effective and SOX compliant internal controls in relation to the processes managed
Support executive compensation related matters including offers and job evaluations
Strong working knowledge of equity plans.
Experience with a third-party stock admin tools – specifically experience with Fidelity
Expert knowledge with equity related portions of SEC filings.
Experience administering both equity incentive and ESPP Plans, including, processing of option exercises and grant preparation.
Strong project management skills and ability to lead and work with different departments in connection with equity administration.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of all employee, payroll and equity information.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong understanding of financial reporting principles related to equity compensation.
Strong interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of the organization
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
5 years minimum public company stock administration experience.
Certified Equity Professional (CEP).
7 - 10 Years of Experience
CEBS or CCP preferred
