The Ken and Ruth Davee Department of Neurology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor. Responsibilities include routine, ambulatory and continuous video-EEG interpretation, participation in epilepsy surgery evaluations, evaluation and management of epilepsy patients in the ambulatory setting, and teaching of students, residents and fellows. The program includes an Epilepsy Monitoring Unit for noninvasive and invasive surgical and diagnostic evaluations, an active ICU continuous EEG service, daily intraoperative monitoring cases, and a dedicated Women's Neurology program. Opportunities are available to join or develop clinical and basic research related to epilepsy. The Comprehensive Epilepsy Center at Northwestern Memorial Hospital is a designated Level 4 Epilepsy Center and is highly nationally ranked.
Qualified candidates will possess an MD degree or MD/PhD equivalent; be board certified in Neurology and Epilepsy or Clinical Neurophysiology; and hold/be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois. Fellowship training is required.
