POSITION SUMMARY:

Collaborate with investigators to provide study design and data analysis support for clinical and translational research studies as a team member of the Epidemiology and Biostatistics shared resource and the Data Coordinating Center for Pediatric Multicenter Studies within/associated with the JHAC Institute for Clinical and Translational Research. Provide dedicated epidemiology and biostatistics support to one or more Institutes/Departments. Collaborate with data warehouse team, database design/management team, and the Epidemiology and Biostatistics team members to accomplish consultation tasks that cross multiple areas of research. Develop and present didactics to different audiences at JHAC and provide mentorship in formalized training tracks and curricula as well as to junior staff.

Work Schedule: Day Shift/ 8:30am-5:00pm/ Fulltime

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Doctoral degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics or related field (PhD, DPhil, or equivalent); PhD candidates not considered
• 1-3 years of related work experience
• Strong quantitative skills as well as excellent written and verbal skills
• Advanced knowledge in programming reproducible statistical code using STATA, SAS, R or other statistical software
• Excellent interpersonal communication ski
