This position will provide support to the PSI Business Units with respect to the EPICOR Enterprise ERP solution; this requires knowledge and resolution of both short-term and long-term issues. It is a requirement this person maintains a high level of understanding of the business needs and system functionality to provide the strategic direction to support the overall business, company and corporate objectives. It is mandatory this position understands the integration of all the modules to help troubleshoot the immediate day to day issues and long term strategic objectives of the business. It is required this position acts as a primary "change agent" for the business when new processes are defined and require support and training of the end users. This position must maintain a good working relationship with all Epicor BA's to ensure proper integration of process changes and functionality between the different groups.
Provide support for the integration of remaining PSI manufacturing units
Participate in system upgrades by assisting in planning and testing those upgrades.
Continuously gains an understanding of the customers' operations and how systems are used in support of their operations, transferring knowledge to users, programmers and IT support personnel.
Keep abreast of new EPICOR releases and applications and present opportunities for improvement to the business units.
Determine functional requirements and recommends workable EPICOR solutions to management and staff.
Develop new or modifies existing software solutions to satisfy ongoing company business needs. Participate in preparation of the business cases including project charter, cost justification, approval paperwork, 3rd-party package selection recommendations and other documents as needed.
Develop reports from the system as needed
Assist other programmers and analysts in the development and implementation of new programs and systems.
User Support and Training duties:
Continuously update and add new training material and deliver it to the end-users.
Responsible for monitoring the integrity of the Epicor system for PSI.
Assist units by training and teaching associates on site on Epicor system processes and procedures.
Conduct training for new users (as needed). Provide one-on-one or small group refresher / intermediate / advanced training as required by users.
Respond to Help Desk requests in a timely fashion
Work with users to enhance and/or develop new systems and techniques to more efficiently help them do their job, including initiating or facilitating kaizen events.
Execute approved changes to task menus to enhance end user functionality.
Perform other duties, assignments, and special projects that may be required from time to time.
