Job Description

Are you an experienced, passionate pioneer in technology who wants to work in a collaborative environment? As an experienced Epic Data Conversion Analyst you will have the ability to share new ideas and collaborate on projects as a consultant without the extensive demands of travel. Work you'll do/Responsibilities
  • Responsible for defining data conversion scope, estimation of efforts, and timelines
  • Interacts with Operational and IT personnel in identifying and evaluating data requirements for to meet user and organizational requirements
  • Works directly with Operations and provides input on system capabilities
  • Develops extract specifications for source systems
  • Work with vendors to obtain and validate data from source systems
  • Create scripts to parse legacy data and import into relational databases
  • Create SQL scripts to analyze and standardize data and make it accessible to the interface engine
  • Develop interfaces on various interface engines to consume, transform, and load legacy data to Epic
  • Work with Epic implementation application teams to map legacy data to Epic
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data conversion related issues
  • Work with operational users, including clinicians to validate converted data
  • Builds rapport and always promotes teamwork by maintaining a professional and positive attitude, working to maintain open and professional lines of communication with all end users and colleagues, and utilizing key change management principles
  • Lead meetings as needed, prioritize tasks, resolve conflicts and manage a project plan
  • Meet application deliverables, project timelines, and delivery weekly status reporting
  • Timely project and data tracking with input of weekly time tracking
  • Performs other related duties assigned by supervisor
  • In an emergency, performs other duties necessary for the welfare of patients or the efficient operations of the institution

We advise, design, implement, and deploy innovative and technology enabled solutions focused on "heart of the business" issues in specific sectors including Health Care & Life Sciences, Digital Banking & Payments, Investment & Wealth Management, Insurance, Telecom, Media and Energy & Resources.

Our OTT team brings clients the knowledge of industry leaders who understand the relevant processes and technologies for their industry-and apply them with a process and mindset that tailors transformational change to their specific organization.

Qualifications

Required
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of recent experience with an implementation
  • Experience with Epic Data Conversion
  • Experience in working with HL7 messages and interface development developing HL7 interfaces, FHIR, or XML interface
  • Experience developing healthcare interfaces with various interface engines (InterSystems Health Connect preferred)
  • Experience writing advanced SQL queries
  • Epic certification and experience in Bridges or another Epic application (e.g. Beaker, Radiant, or EpicCare Ambulatory)
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred
  • Strong desktop skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Work Experience/Direct Knowledge of clinical area or business area to be supported
  • PowerShell or Python scripting experience
  • Epic Clarity certification
  • Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products
  • Can operate independently or with minimum supervision
  • Excellent Written and Communication Skills
