In this position you will be responsible for the overall management of the Housekeeping Department in an acute care hospital setting. You will be responsible for successfully coordinating and supporting all activities of the department, working with all levels of the facility staff in matters relating to the cleanliness of the facility. The Director usually reports to a Regional Director of Operations.
• Oversees department’s financial data and statistics
• Monitors unit expenditures
• Develops and recommends department operating budget and ensure the department operates within budget
• Coordinates housekeeping activities with other departments
• Actively communicates with administration and other hospital departments
