Is responsible for managing the technical and financial aspects of assigned projects. The Consultant coordinates drilling, sample/data collection, subcontractor tasks, evaluates data and compiles written reports for submittal to clients and regulatory agencies. The person needs to be reliable (responsibilities, tardiness, etc.) and have a good work ethic. They need to be able to cooperate with co-workers and clients and they also should be able to listen, understand and follow instructions. They must show respect for company property.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Manages environmental assessment projects, coordinates internally and with client, prepares proposals as needed, and writes reports.
Analyzes reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, tests, and aerial photographs on soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and other topographical and geologic data to plan and design project.
Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare reports and design documents/analyses.
Coordinates and cooperates with lab and field departments.
Prepares cost estimates, proposals and invoices.
May supervise Field Technician scheduling.
Meets project budgets and schedules.
Follows safety procedures.
Other duties may be assigned.
