Our Lenexa facility designs and manufactures Oxygen Life Support System products for commercial, military and private business jet aircrafts providing high quality, innovative solutions to enhance aircraft passengers and crew safety and comfort. We strive to make advances in the field of oxygen delivery and consumption technologies for a more reliable system that reduces total weight and cost for our clientele.

As a leader in the aerospace industry, we are growing rapidly and have a number of exciting positions available right now, including an Evironmental Health and Safety Manager in our Life Support Systems business located in Lenexa, Kansas.


The Environment, Health, and Safety (EH&S) Manager has responsibility for entire systems, projects, programs or operational unit across functional areas. The EH&S Manager designs, develops, implements, and oversees the organization's EH&S programs and procedures to safeguard employees and the environment. Confirms compliance of all facilities with EH&S regulations and company requirements.


  • Advocate the importance of Environmental, Health and Safety in the organization and actively support the organization's efforts to meet or exceed EH&S goals and plans.
  • Collaborate with operations to integrate EH&S performance into operations.
  • Assists in development and management of budget, staffing, and operations results.
  • Lead continuous improvement in EH&S while ensuring comprehensive operational compliance.
  • Lead the Environmental, Health and Safety program to achieve and maintain compliance with current and future legal, regulatory and corporate requirements.
  • Participate in management review meetings to present EH&S performance, discuss upcoming EH&S actions to improve functional performance, and proactively identify and address EH&S issues which may affect operations or may provide strategic advantage to the business.
  • Collaborate with other EH&S professionals to establish or adopt best practices relevant to the industry.
  • Drive all EH&S regulatory reporting requirements. Responsible for appropriate procedures, approvals, coordination and control of hazardous, regulated and solid wastes.
  • Initiate, conduct and maintain records of safety training for company.


  • Bachelors degree in environmental, health, safety or related field (chemical engineering, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, etc.) and a minimum of five years of related experience and/or equivilent. Masters degree or MBA is a plus.
  • Thorough knowledge of EH&S regulations and global standards/guidance (US example: OSHA, EPA, DOT, NIOSH, ANSI, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001)
  • Strong knowledge and understanding and compliance with Environment, Health and Safety, standard concepts, practices, and procedures required.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and implementing site EH&S programs and systems.
  • Strong leadership, organization and project management skills.
  • Experience in leading a team, as well as proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload of self and teams.
  • Research skills and the ability to draw information from various sources, including people.
  • Ability to influence and drive initiatives while working in a diverse, multicultural environment
