The Air Force Space and Missile Center Remote Sensing Directorate (SMC/RS) Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) team in El Segundo, CA has an immediate need for a Systems Engineering Planner with system planning expertise.  This individual will work with the Remote Sensing (RS) SE&I Leads to coordinate and integrate all efforts into the Government’s Enterprise Master Schedule and One Voice Schedules for Space Based Infrared System (SBIRS), Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) Next Generation, Space-Based Environmental Monitoring (SBEM), Program of Record Ground / Future Ground and future acquisition efforts for the RS Enterprise.  This individual will be a Systems Engineer with experience in Department of Defense (DoD) Space-Based systems.  Candidate will provide SE&I planning support to the OPIR and SBEM Enterprise programs in support of the Space and Missile Systems Center Remote Sensing Directorate (SMC/RS).  Candidate will support enterprise integration activities for SMC/RS space, ground, operations, logistics, and sustainment elements to identify and support the management of risks, issues, and interdependencies, identifying disconnects between integration products, schedules, risks, contracts, etc.  This individual will provide scheduling and planning support for all SMC/RS space, ground, operations, logistics, and sustainment elements to identify and support the management of risks, issues, interdependencies, identifying schedule disconnects and conflicts, developing action plans for resolution, and assisting the Government in executing selected solutions.

Integrity Applications Incorporated is seeking a highly motivated space acquisition professional to join our team.  The ideal candidate will have expertise in one or more of the following areas:

  • Deep understanding of the Enterprise Master Planning (EMP) and Enterprise Master Schedule (EMS) process
  • Ensuring process improvements are identified and coordinated with the Government for approval prior to implementation
  • Supporting program reviews to include: 1) producing and distributing agendas, presentations, capturing minutes and action items, and tracking action items to closure; 2) supporting intra-program program, milestone, and technical reviews (i.e. SRR, SDR, PDR, CDR, etc.); and 3) supporting external Remote Sensing Directorate, DoD, or other Government Agency reviews (i.e., IG Inspections, Staff Assistance Visits, etc.), as required
  • Submitting proposals for innovative solutions for current and future Enterprise risks and/or opportunities for schedule and cost savings, as required


  • This individual must possess a BA/BS degree (graduate degreepreferred) in Business, Science, Engineering, Mathematics or other related technical discipline
  • The candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in relevant DoD space systems
  • Experience developing and maintaining MS Project schedules
  • Must be a strong, proactive individual who takes the initiative to identify, own, and solve customer problems
  • Must have the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment
  • Must have superior interpersonal, written, and communications skills with the ability to interface with different personalities in a range of positions, including many at very senior levels
  • Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to independently execute work tasks in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment


  • Advanced Degree in Science, Engineering, Math, or Business
  • Experience using OnePager Pro
  • AF Space Overhead Persistent Radar (OPIR) and Space-Based Environmental Monitoring (SBEM) level experience
  • Solid understanding of DoD acquisition life-cycle policies, processes and milestones
  • Experience with USAF Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) processes, procedures & compliance documents

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS: Active Secret (Top Secret/SCI preferred) Clearance Required.
