Job Summary

First line leader of a Global Business Services team that is highly focused on developing each assigned team member.  Effectively collaborates with internal and external customers and/or suppliers to align resources, work efforts and develop / execute tactical plans that enable successful business operations, across a wide variety of assignments.  Accountable for ensuring accurate and appropriate deployment of resources.  The responsibilities of this role could span across all teams within Global Business Services, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, the Center of Excellence, Vendor Management, Data Management, and Customer Order Management.

Position Responsibilities

  • Leadership and execution of the commerce enablement work across the organization, focused on digital product information publication

  • Identify a holistic and automated approach to deploying product content to enable consumer centric marketing in line with the ever-developing digital demands from our customers

  • Continuous process improvement - Develop solutions to simplify, streamline and transform Product Information Management processes improving operating productivity and enabling growth in support of the strategic plan 

  • Build Product Information Management data infrastructure built with measurements in place for data inputs and data outputs

  • Execution of defined Human Resources Processes, ensuring effective use of people to accomplish work and produce deliverables  

  • Leadership and development of people toward organizational and personal success
  • Leadership of GBS Career Development Program
  • Successful collaboration with internal and external partners to align priorities and deliver GBS services that meet the needs of the business
  • Ensure success of GBS initiatives through effective communication and change management 
  • Develop and execute Strategic and Tactical digital plans with effective resource management
  • Drive effective and efficient use of people, process and technology to meet business needs
  • Accountable for GBS metrics; execute recommendations that drive action / resolution
  • Accountable for people and planning related decisions to include hiring, training, and performance management
  • Leverage external experiences, benchmarking and resources to carry out digital transformation

  • Studying, interpreting and developing thorough understanding of problems and opportunities; ability to develop and communicate the story to various levels of leadership
  • Lead and develop individuals to work both independently and in a cross functional teams
  • Facilitates, optimizes and leads others to work across geographies and cultures
  • Manages and proactively leads conflict resolution and is escalation contact for internal and external partners across all levels of leadership.

Position Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business related field and/or 7+ years related business experiencerequired
  • MBA, advanced degree or professional certification preferred
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time

  • Operates with a Consumer first mentality

  • Demonstrated experience working with product information management or content management

  • Experience leveraging technology to solve business or process problems

  • Demonstrated bias for action and ability to operate independently 

  • Previous leadership experiencepreferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and planning skills
  • Proven success in ability to work cross functionally in a highly matrixed organization
  • Prioritize multiple activities simultaneously
  • Strong project management skills
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Proficient PC skills (Microsoft Office) including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Lead change in an ambiguous and dynamic business environment
  • Proven strategic and critical thinking skills
  • Domestic and International travel may be required 
  • Ability to work and perform in a fun, agile and fast paced business environment
