Summary of This Role

Generates revenue through sales to new Enterprise accounts within a geographic area or market. Collects information to better understand business issues, problems, and opportunities and to identify sales prospects. Prepares quantitative, qualitative, and financial data for use in pricing and sales presentations. Ensures sales plans and key account strategies are implemented and sales/financial goals are obtained.

What Part Will You Play?

  • Generate leads, prospect, and close high-volume accounts within, but not limited to, the Retail, Restaurant, and QSR industries; plus B2B

  • evelop leads through cold-calling, e-marketing, trade shows, and by working with some of TSYS/ Cayan existing ISV partners

  • Research and become intimately familiar with Tier 2 and Tier 3 space and other highly profitable areas within the payment industry

  • Build new benefit relationships for TSYS/Cayan through networking

What Are We Looking For in This Role?

Minimum Qualifications

  • Payment Tech Industry experiencerequired
  • 5+ years selling directly to large retail & restaurant accounts
  • 5+ years working with POS Developers as POS Integrations are critical to close new large retail accounts
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
  • Proven track record of meeting and/or exceeding sales targets within the direct retail/restaurant space
  • Self-starter with new business development mentality
  • Strong presentation, negotiating and relationship development skills.
  • Must be a team player with a positive attitude
  • Excellent communication skills with strong verbal and written skills
  • Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills, plus excellent organizational skills
  • Must be willing to travel weekly and on some weekends


Preferred Qualifications

  • Book of business in the tier 2 and 3 retail space (preferable)
