The Enterprise Architect (EA) will be responsible for the overall solution set and enterprise architectural roadmap at a client, whether during the discovery and bid process, implementation, or future growth and changes. This will include working with both CGI and the client’s business and technical teams.
The EA will bring together solution and technical architects and specialists to gain common understanding and buy-in for the target architecture and to integrate solutions into the enterprise. This may include the inclusion, migration, and modifications of CGI and other client software, networking, and hardware solutions to create the optimum holistic direction.
The EA will help bridge gaps between technical and functional business strategies/realities and cross any silos that may exist.
The EA must mentor the other architects and specialists and help them grow and develop in their chosen careers.
The EA will be part of both sales and implementation teams, often serving multiple accounts and prospects at the same time.
This is truly a senior client facing role up to executive management and requires excellent communication skills, persuasion, vision, team building, leadership, and attention to detail.
A BS in Computer Science or related field is required. MS in technical field or MBA is preferred.
14+ years in IT systems implementation and administration.
8+ years in financial services.
5+ years of client facing roles
5+ years as architect with at least 2 years at the enterprise level,
2+ years of experience with cloud solutions and migrations
3+ years of experience working as part of a bid and proposal team
Deep technical understand of enterprise architecture concepts and tools
TOGAF or similar certification desired
This position requires candidates to be based within the State of Texas.
