Enterprise Architect

Key Role:

Complete work on major, more complex IT architecture projects with full competency. Apply hardware engineering and software design theories and principles in researching, designing, and developing product hardware and software interfaces. Provide integrated systems planning and recommends innovative technologies that will enhance the current system. Recommend appropriate desktop, computer platform, and communication links required to support IT goals and strategy. Coordinate the activities of the project team and assist in monitoring project schedules and costs.

Basic Qualifications:

-3 years of experience with DoD business, enterprise-wide view of the business and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance

-Experience with modeling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques

-Experience with using model-based representations that can be adjusted as required to collect, aggregate, or disaggregate complex and conflicting information about the business

-Experience with planning and deploying business and IT initiatives

-Ability to recognize structural issues within the organization, functional interdependencies, and cross-silo redundancies

-Ability to apply architectural DoDAF DM2 principles to business solutions

-Ability to assimilate and correlate disconnected documentation and drawings and articulate their collective relevance to the organization and to high-priority business issues

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degreerequired

Additional Qualifications:

-Ability to visualize and create high-level models that can be used in future analysis to extend and mature the business architecture

-Ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization, including oral and written communications and visualizations

-Ability to act as a liaison conveying information needs of the business to IT and data constraints to the business and apply equal conveyance regarding business strategy and IT strategy, business processes and work flow automation, business initiatives and IT initiatives, and benefit realization and service delivery

-Ability to work effectively at all levels of an organization and help others to move toward consensus

-Ability to make situational analyses

-Ability to make decisions

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skill
