Our iPhone Hardware Engineering group is growing- our goal is to continually improve the iPhone with new inventions and technology that will make the largest impact on our current and future iPhone owners. We are searching for an inventive, high-energy, person to lead allocation distribution, materials requirements, and with great communication skills. Candidate will also need to update material and equipment web based tracking tools, have an understanding of Bills of Materials and documentation experience.

Key Qualifications

  • Experience working in an engineering environment
  • Strong sense of being a team member and ability to work well with cross-functional teams
  • Strong drive and motivation to at times do repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong organization and documentation skills
  • Have good structured BOM experience preferably for hardware products
  • Combination of interpersonal and detail-oriented skills when working on multiple projects
  • Ability to react to resets and changes in a time sensitive environment
  • Understand Configuration Management and BOM structuring
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal)
  • Proficient with iWork applications such as Numbers or MS Excel
  • World-class critical thinking skill set
  • Be able to lift 45lbs
  • Off-hour support may be needed via email and phone

Description

As a member of the iPhone team you will work in a dynamic environment, with constant change and demand. This dynamic environment promotes growth, and change of direction so you'll need to be dedicated to support all job functions. The ideal person is a confident organizer who can prioritize issues and track material differences in order to distribute material to appropriate engineering members. In addition to supporting material distribution you will also be responsible for distribution, tracking, and allocation of test equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, and digital multi-meters. Perform quarterly audits of equipment location, functionality and repairs.

Education

Some College or 3+ years of industry experience
