The Spirit Senior Manager of Advanced Research, Distinctive Capabilities oversees the deployment and upkeep of Spirit’s Distinctive Capabilities and Value Drivers.? The role develops corporate technology strategies, technology and product roadmaps and is directly responsible for managing the Distinctive Capability team.? This is an elevated senior manager position and requires the candidate to be able to effectively communicate technology goals, guide technology projects, provide input to the IP strategy team and validate metrics and reported performance effectively to the R&D community and executive leadership.?
?? The Distinctive Capability team reports directly to the senior manager.? She/he will need to collaborate effectively with counterparts in R&D, Manufacturing Technology, Material and Process Engineering, Product Development, Tooling, Information Technology, Quality, Global Production Engineering and Engineering.? The senior manager guides colleagues and direct reports in developing and deploying the Distinctive Capability strategy.? This leader advises the entire company on technology value, state of the art technologies, and competitive capabilities.?? The senior manager reports regularly at executive leadership meetings.? The leader also guides communication of Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. technology capabilities.? The Sr. Manager for Advanced Research, Distinctive Capabilities reports to the Director of Advanced Research, Portfolio Management and CRAD.??
